Koffee With Karan Season 8: Alia Bhatt was in for a big shock when Karan Johar asked her a rather “intrusive” question on the latest episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8, where she was joined by her sister-in-law, actress Kareena Kapoor. Karan seemingly asked Alia whether or not she gets insecure in her relationship with Ranbir as movie business is one profession where “you’re open to a little more temptations than normal”.

“When you come back home do you find yourself second-guessing things? Do you build a narrative that you don’t want in your head about your husbands?” Karan asked Alia. To this, a visibly shocked Alia replied, “What do you mean?”

When Kareena tried to explain Alia, the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress said, “No, I think he is saying something else. He means, ‘They’re going and acting with actresses so are we feeling jealous….”

“It happens to them as well, I’m sure,” Karan quickly added. To this, Alia said, “Chhee chhee… This is all just Page 3 talk which something Reddit will be getting off on now after this one thread… This doesn’t exist. We are married to human beings first, then actors… I feel like we are talking too much about our husbands. We should talk about ourselves.”

When Karan said she has been accused of talking about her husband “too much”, Alia replied, “That’s why I’m saying I don’t want to talk about him. I want to talk about myself.”

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt also reacted to the internet calling Ranbir Kapoor ‘toxic’ and a ‘red flag.’ A few months ago, Ranbir was labelled as a ‘toxic’ person after Alia revealed that he doesn’t like it when she wears any lip colour and asks her to ‘wipe that off’. When asked to share her thoughts about the controversy, Alia said, “I have a very candid way of speaking so even when I’m talking about anything in my life, I like to imitate the person that I’m talking about, I like to give anecdotes, I like to make it personal. I feel like a lot of things just get picked out of context which happened recently.”
