An 8-year-old boy was seriously injured after being hit by a Jefferson County Public School bus near his school.The boy, Devesh Rai, is in second grade at Luhr Elementary School in Highview. He was struck a little after 8 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Fegenbush Lane and Hollow Creek Road, which is in front of the school.
