Assembly constituency no.40 Naryawali (Naryoli, Naryaoli) (नरयावली in Hindi), is an Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) seat in the Vindhya Pradesh region and Sagar district, of the state of Madhya Pradesh, which is in the Central region of India (Bharat). In 2013, Engg Pradeep Lariya of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Advocate Surendra Choudhary of INC by a margin of 16,046 votes which was 12.06% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 52.02% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Eng Pradeep Laria of BJP won this seat beating Advocate Madhavi Choudhary of INC by a margin of 14,805 votes which was 16.64% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 43.51% in the seat.
