When Karan Johar launched his iconic talk show ‘Koffee with Karan’ in 2004, it was none other than Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol who graced the inaugural episode. Fast forward to this year, when SRK has delivered two of the year’s biggest hits, and yet, he has been absent from talk show appearances.

Fans are now left wondering whether King Khan will make a return to the ‘Koffee with Karan’ couch in the ongoing eighth season. Although KJo recently confirmed that SRK won’t be making an appearance this year, die-hard fans are reminiscing about the ‘wit show’ that would ensue if Shah Rukh were there. A clip has resurfaced on the micro-blogging site ‘X,’ featuring SRK on the couch with Kajol and Rani Mukerji during their appearance in the second season of KWK in 2007. While the entire episode is a must-watch for all SRK fans, a snippet from the rapid-fire round has been widely circulated on the internet, showcasing the pinnacle of wit and humour. From his candid responses regarding what actors mean when they claim their film is the ‘director’s responsibility’ to his assessment of a ‘better’ actor, SRK’s answers continue to mirror the charm fans experience during his ‘Ask SRK’ sessions.
