Thalapathy 68: Vijay Performs Pada Pooja on Dussehra; Welcomes Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Laila on Board | Watchnewsbhunt

Thalapathy Vijay made his way to the Pada Pooja of his upcoming film Thalapathy 68. In a video shared by AGS Entertainment on their Twitter, now known as X, the Leo star was seen joining director Venkat Prabhu and team to not only perform the puja for the film but also welcome the cast of the film. The video revealed that the puja took place on Dussehra and Vijay personally welcomed a number of cast members. These include Prabhu Deva, Sneha and Laila.

The video began with Vijay walking into the puja venue with his unmissbale swag. He then welcomed Meenakshi Chaudhary, who is reportedly roped in to play the lead opposite the actor. He went on to welcome Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Sneha, Jayaram, Premji, Vaibhav, Ajay Raj, Aravind Akash, Mohan, Laila, VTV Ganesh, Ameer, and Yogi Babu, along with the crew. They performed a puja together and posed for a few photos as well. Check out the video below:

Directed by Venkat Prabhu, Thalapathy 68 will have the music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. This will be the second time that he will be collaborating with Vijay, after Pudhiya Geethai in 2003. The fans must be expecting another blockbuster album from the music composer.

Thalapathy 68 is AGS Entertainment’s second film with Vijay after Bigil in 2019. Bigil became a massive hit at the box office and the blockbuster banner will be trying to create the same box office spectacle once again. The release date is yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, Vijay’s film Leo has been performing well at the box office. Co-starring Trisha, Leo is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and is part of his Lokesh Cinematic Universe, aka LCU.
