The T10 League 2023 match no. 14 witnessed a bizarre no-ball from Northern Warriors bowler Abhimanyu Mithun when he was in action against The Chennai Braves on Saturday in Abu Dhabi. The right-arm pacer overstepped the crease by a huge margin, leaving the netizens stunned.

The incident occurred in the 5th over of Chennai’s chase of 107, when Charith Asalanka was on strike. Right after dismissing Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Mithun delivered a massive no-ball as his foot landed far away from the bowling crease. Though the Braves could only muster 2 runs off the no-ball, Mithun’s overstepping caught all the eyeballs.

Here’s how the netizens reacted:

Chennai Braves’s brave chase after restricting Northern Warriors to 106 for 3 helped them record a five-wicket win with two balls to spare in the 14th match of the Abu Dhabi T10 at the Zayed Cricket Stadium.

The architects of their victory were Sikandar Raza who hit 27 off ten balls and skipper Charaith Asalanka, who remained unbeaten on 22 off 16 balls. Stephen Eskinazi too had chipped in with 22 runs. Northern Warriors’s opener Hazratullah Zazai’s brilliant knock of 54 off 32 balls with seven boundaries and a six went in vain.
